Calvary's DNA

Calvary Assembly is a church full of people who have discovered the extraordinary abundance of life that comes with each of us having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We started off in 1960 as a church plant by Reverend and Mrs. Fred Oliver Seaward.

Today, under the leadership of Pastor Timothy Eu, we enjoy a dynamic vibrant atmosphere of worshipping God and celebrating what He has done and is doing in our lives. Through this atmosphere of excitement and the fullness of the Holy Spirit, we receive His Word and grow in His ways. Our members wholeheartedly pursue God, lead transformed lives and desire to share His love with those around us.

As a warm and caring community, we disciple each Calvarite, and release them to serve God in their calling and destiny. Our understanding of God is reflected in the enthusiastic and vibrant nature of our church services. Through our ministries, we spread the gospel and make a difference in people’s lives

If you are looking for a home church, we warmly welcome you to join us today so that you too, can be a part of what God is doing with us in Calvary Assembly. Come and be blessed!

About Calvary

God-Seekers. Building Lives.

Everyday. Everywhere. Everyone.
Vision Statement

This statement encapsulates everything we desire to see in Calvarites.

God-seekers. Building Lives.
Everyday. Everywhere. Everyone.

Who are we and what are we engaged in as a community of believers here at Calvary?

As God-seekers, we pursue after Him and love to be in His Presence. This posture of pursuit comes from an innate desire to know more of Him and be known by Him. It is also out of this divine pursuit that we discover who we are in Him and live our lives for His glory. God takes interest in how we live and will empower us by His grace to live Spirit-led and God-pleasing lives.

We approach our spiritual disciplines from the position of extraordinary privilege as His children. This includes us engaging in reading the Bible, worshipping, praying, participating in discipleship and fellowship with others in our community, evangelising, and seeking to be conduits in the demonstration of His power in signs and wonders.

“Building Lives” comes as a natural extension of us being God-seekers. God has called us to make a difference and impact our world. We embark on this journey by allowing Him to transform our lives, and then through us, the lives of those in our family, and eventually, others as well. We look forward to being carriers of faith, hope, and love, and being a part of all that God is doing in restoring lives, setting those who are burdened free, healing the sick, and so much more. It is our joy to witness His power that leads to families thriving, lives won to God, and people effectively discipled in Christ and discovering their purpose in Him.

“Everyday. Everywhere. Everyone.” speaks of how His presence, Word, and purpose transcends every area of our lives. In living our lives for Him, there is no separation between the secular and sacred, no distinction between the spiritual and mundane. We seek Him and build lives all the time, no matter where we are, or what we do.

We invite you to join us in building this Kingdom culture and experiencing His call for your life.

Let’s arise to be God-seekers, building lives – everyday, everywhere, and with everyone!

  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written word of God.

  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future returns to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

  • In the blessed hope - the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.

  • The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

  • In water baptism, by immersion.

  • The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body as an answer to believing in prayer.

  • The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for Him.

  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life, and the other to everlasting damnation.

Our Statement of Faith

Calvary Assembly is blessed with a wonderful team who, together with the rest of the church, seeks to see the mission of God fulfilled throughout the world.

We believe that we're all on a journey together in being who God has called us to be and doing what God has called us to do! And the first step to doing that is by getting to know you better. But in the meantime, here’s a little bit about us...
