RISE OF THE CHAMPIONS CHILDREN’S CAMP (29 NOV 2013): DIVINE PROTECTION From June Bay
The day we went to the Jacob Ballas playground, a camper wanted to play with a sand digger at the playground. There was a toddler nearby who kept going too near the digger’s claws despite his mother’s repeated attempts to steer him away. I told the camper to stay away from the machine, especially with the toddler so nearby, but he still played with it a few times. The toddler got injured by the sand digger when another young boy played with the machine. Thank God for his hand of protection over the camper, that no accidents happened to him or the toddler when he played with the machine. The camper agreed during reflection of the situation the next day that God’s hand of protection had covered both children, and he realized that he should have been more careful and considerate when playing in the playground. Thank God for His goodness and a lesson learnt!
