The Church is in a celebration mood. We are celebrating 50 years of God’s faithfulness.
The planning committee under David Tan is working hard to get things lined up so that church members can be roped in make this celebration a success.

In conjunction with this celebration, the church is raising funds for the Children's Cancer Foundation. As the Pastor, I feel this is a very noble thing to do as we thank God for His faithfulness to this Church. In our celebration, we want to be a blessing to the less fortunate.

The Planning Committee has organized a walkathon on May 1st 2010. All funds raised will be given to the Children's Cancer Foundation. A cheque will be presented to their representative at the celebration dinner on 5th September 2010. If you want to know more, please call the church office during office hours (Tues-Sunday). The website of the Children's Cancer Foundation also has a portal for donation under "Calvary Charity Drive".

The church has also made available 300 beautiful umbrellas with the 50th Anniversary logo. The sale was launched last week at $15/- per piece. All profits will be channeled to the Children's Cancer Foundation. If you need one, come for the Sunday Services to pick up one or call the office for details.

Of course all celebrations will have a dinner. The celebration dinner will be held on the evening of  5th September 2010 at the Marina Mandarin Ballroom. The cost will be $75 per head. It covers an 8-course dinner, a beautiful souvenir event magazine, a 50th anniversary key chain and a mini concert. If you are interested, please call the office. There are limited tables for the celebration.

Well, if you have been to Calvary and have worshipped here before, we want to invite you to join us in this celebration. We would love to see you and fellowship with you. Also, we will be making available a Coffee Table Book (chronicling the history of the Church). It will be a book worth investing in as we trace our journey of 50 years. Come, celebrate with us. Our journey does not end here. We are moving from the past into the future!
